How to fix Windows crashes
Sometimes your computer may show an error message ep-bx3 bios. There can be several reasons for this error to appear.
Naturally, most people can get a little confused when it comes to using command line tools like FFmpeg. But don’t worry, I was there not too long ago and now I’ll try to explain how to install and/or use it the best I can.
But first, some information from you:
FFmpeg is a leading multimedia framework capable of decoding, encoding, transcoding, multiplexing, demultiplexing, streaming, transmission and playback of virtually anything created by man or machine. It keeps the most obscure old layouts at the forefront.
So you really enjoy installing it, you just need to think about it a little.

1: while loading
Go to http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/ and purchase a 32-bit or static 64-bit build (depending on your system). Most modern computers are 64-bit, but unless you upgradeDamn, that’s pretty easy to check.

To make downloading easy and fast, it’s compressed into a nice .7z file, which is similar to a .zip file but smaller. Chances are you know exactly what it is and how to compress it, but if you don’t, you will need to specifically download a tutorial called 7zip that will help you decompress it in the market. I know there are comments that I’ll send you later, but 7zip is considered another program that you won’t regret installing.
Unzip it to an easily accessible directory, such as directly to the C: drive. It should create a folder similar to ffmpeg-20140530-git-98a6806-win64-static but just rename it to ffmpeg for convenience. You will thank me later.
It might look like this:
3: Add to path
Finally, we must add the bin directory containing the ffmpeg.exe file to respect the system path so that we can execute simple commands directly. dandy.
Technically you can still do something like
C:ffmpegbinffmpeg like .exe -codecs,
but it’s much easier, you can type
If you try to do this directly, you will get an error saying that ffmpeg is not recognized by an internal or external command.
This basically means that Windows has no idea what you’re talking about.
All our company needs to do is add
C:ffmpegbin to our system path so we can understand each other.
Right-click Computer in the menu and select Properties.
Then select Advanced Settings:
Open environment and variables:
Then edit the new path variable:
The path is usually just a list of folders containing commands that you can use if you like without having to enter the full path to the EXE files.
So add before main and
C:ffmpegbin to fix the linesy, make sure there is a semicolon after the specific previous folder (
4: Use this!
Because FFmpeg is the school of the command line, we need to run the command line!
There are several ways to do this:
- In the start menu, look for the command line or be sure to cmd
- Press Win+R to open the Run utility and type cmd.
- Shift+right-click on a folder (no file type selected) and select “Open Eye-Port Here”. Which is what I usually do.
With the console open, check if FFmpeg is installed correctly by simply typing -codecs,
ffmpeg which will show you all the codecs you have access to, including audio and video. .
If it tells you without navigating that it can't find the command, make sure someone has added the ffmpeg-bin directory to the system path.
If everything is in order - congratulations, the program is installed!
Viewers can now play with all sorts of things like transforming Image sequences to video, convert video clip to image sequence, rotate and scale video, get image information, stabilize shaky video to your liking. Take part in your great aunt's recent wedding, stream video from the webcam you raised in your girlfriend's ex-boyfriend's bedroom, or turn your 250-frame cube system into the ultra-sharp, lossless h264 format most commonly associated with unsurpassed quality.< /p>
There are an infinite number of things you can do to look at the evidence at some point. But if that sounds like a lot of hard work, here is my personal reference that I keep reminding myself of typical tasks:
Create a video from a sequence of images:
ffmpeg -i frame_%04d.png -c:v h264 test.mp4 - "%04d" would be padding, something like "frame_0001.png"
ffmpeg -one frame%04d.png -c:v libx264 -preset veryslow 4 -qp vid.mkv
ffmpeg -i frame%04d.png -c:v -predetermined libx264 ultrafast -qp 0 vid.mkv - larger but faster file size with (camtasia encode
quicktime can do them use):
ffmpeg -me and my family frame%04d.png -c:v prores vid_prores.mov
ffmpeg -i frame%04d.png -c:v qtrle qtrle.mov - may be lossless compression
